All TYC Elegante Altezza Tail Lights are SAE/DOT compliant. In other
words, they are STREET LEGAL for use on ALL public roads and highways. A sample
of each lamp design is sent to an independent testing facility right
here in the US to verify its compliance. Their results can be
downloaded below: If needed... Print the report and "Show it to
the Judge!!"... Get out of jail FREE!
Note: These reports are valid ONLY for owners of
lamps manufactured by TYC and who uses ONLY OEM or TYC-provided
bulbs and sockets. We cannot guarantee compliance when colored or
other aftermarket bulbs are used. TYC lamps have the "TYC" logo and
part number engraved on the lens, near the bottom of the lamp. These
part numbers will correspond to those shown in the test reports
above, stating that the lamp used is compliant to SAE/DOT
regulations.
